Imperfect yet utterly charming, each piece adds the perfect finishing touches to your space. 19th-century French linen dowry sheets can be repurposed into curtains, tablecloths and  chair slipcovers  as I've done in my home.  Cosy vintage eiderdowns give tired sofas and chairs an instant welcoming face-lift.  And when not in use, collectively in open cupboards,  make beautiful displays.  Most will be imperfect, some may bear patches and darns, which I personally adore as they serve as reminders of the affection these pieces once received.
